Continuing to walk it is possible to visit other areas and coves, even less crowded, which allow you to discover some of the most hidden areas of the coast. Among these are: Cala Marinella, Cala della Disa, Cala Beretta, Cala del Varo. Furthermore, if you take a boat trip from San Vito Lo Capo and in the Zingaro Reserve, you can reach also the Cala della Capreria.

Zingaro Nature Reserve day trip: unspoiled nature

The vegetation that characterizes the Riserva dello Zingaro is a real explosion of unique colors. In spring you can see the carob, almond and olive trees in bloom. Alongside these trees there is no shortage of expanses characterized by the presence of dwarf palms, numerous and elegant orchids. Ash and cork trees, I refine the whole natural scenery.

One of the typical symbols of the Riserva dello Zingaro is certainly the dwarf palm, in fact, with its leaves the farmers created various objects for daily use, which are now kept inside the mini itinerant museums of the nature reserve .

The reserve can only be visited on foot, if you want to better admire the natural and faunal species. In fact, during the visit it is possible to admire various species of birds such as: Bonelli’s eagle, the Kite, the Kestrel, and the Buzzard. To fully discover this wonderful habitat, you will therefore need to take a guided excursion on foot among its beauties.

The day trip to San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro Nature Reserve can also be organized by sea. Through a boat excursion with daily departures from San Vito Lo Capo, it is possible to admire the Zingare Reserve directly from the sea.
