What to see in Agrigento

The most spectacular place to visit is Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples, which includes the remains of the ancient city of Akragas. Not to be missed are the Cathedral of San Gerlando, Pirandello’s Birthplace, the Scala dei Turchi (a white limestone cliff in the shape of a staircase), the Regional Archaeological Museum, the Church and Crypt of Addolorata, the Agrigento Market, the Church of Santa Maria dei Greci, the Monastery of Santo Spirito, the Pirandello Theater, and Caporosso Beach.

What to do in Agrigento
